What Are the Differences Between Drug Abuse and Drug Misuse?
PublishedNovember 1, 2013
Question by SweetAngel: What are the differences between drug abuse and drug misuse?
My opinion is that drug abuse is taking prescribed medication constantly, being addicted to the medication. Drug misuse i think is having prescribed medication and taking in ways that your not supposed to and taking more than the prescription says to take. I also think that one leads to the other.
Best answer:
Answer by Baby Shes Country Drug abuse is knowingly taking drugs that are in no way helping you and possibly not even prescribed to you.
Drug misuse is mistakenly taking a drug that is prescribed to you the wrong way. (Like you said, taking more that the prescription says) And also taking them without eating.
