School Suspension Ontario, Canada?

Question by Brandon: School suspension Ontario, Canada?
Are highschools in Ontario, Canada to have video cameras constantly recording and storing video footage of students in the halls constantly.
I got suspended today because they saw me prank a friends lock on
his locker with a bit of white glue and told me it was damaging property
but it’s not the school’s property. Is this right, normal friendly joking on a friend turned around to seem bad and given the same punishment of doing drugs or abusing a student?
IT WAS THE STUDENTS LOCK. NOT THE SCHOOLS PROPERTY.

Yes. What made you think that you had a right to commit such an act? You deserve a good caning for that.

So you dont think that the lockers inside the school are school property? your friend doesnt own the locker it IS school property and that is damaging property! Any school anywhere can have cameras and if they see you playing jokes on a friend (although you thought it was funny) it was disturbing school and you got in trouble for it. so just dont do it again. To say it was being in trouble for drugs or something is ignorant if someone at your school was caught on camera with drugs im sure they would be in a little more trouble then you.
