Meet the Staff: James W. Ellermeyer – Jim is a mental health and addiction therapist practicing at S’eclairer. He obtained both a Bachelor’s degree in addiction and a Masters degree in Community Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Jim has extensive experience in 12 step recovery and is a board member of the Armstrong, Indiana, and Clarion County Drug and Alcohol Commission and Conawego-Firetree Adolescent in-patient rehabilitation facilities and currently facilitates a DBT skills group along with a 12 step recovery support group at S’eclairer. Jim’s passion is advocating for social justice through active membership in human rights organizations. He spends his free time reading and dealing with a difficult cat.
