AZ Parents Connect – What’s in Your Child’s World?


 

AZ Parents Connect – What’s in Your Child’s World? – Saturday, December 18, 2010, 10 – 11:30 am Identify drugs and other chemicals most commonly abused by our children – and their effects. This workshop is one in a 12-part series from the Arizona Affiliate as part of AZ Parents Connect, a research-based community education program developed by the Partnership to raise awareness of teen alcohol, marijuana and prescription drug abuse in Arizona by targeting parents, health care professionals and military families. AZ Parents C…onnect focuses on the three important steps of “prevention, intervention, treatment” through parent workshops, in-person and online community trainings. The workshops are led by workshop coordinator Kim Obert and Chris Wilkins, a master level professional counselor. Parents and caregivers can attend one or all of the sessions.
